Great hug from Eckhart. I didn’t want to let go. The energy was amazing

Laughing with Eckhart
How exciting!! We finally meet in person. We waited to connect until after the retreat so that we could really be in the present moment with one another. It was magical. His energy filled the whole room with love, peace and comfort. I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. Eckhart said that is was really “miraculous” (his word) that I was able to get in contact with him. He thanked me for creating our wonderful book.
I never met Eckhart Tolle during this whole process, but I knew that I would someday. I followed Eckhart’s speaking schedule from afar. For a year and a half, he only appeared in other countries. I kept track of when he would return to the U.S. That happened this past summer, in June 2012, and I attended his retreat at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. Eckhart spoke for days, and I loved every minute of it. Eckhart was enlightening, funny, motivating and inspiring. The first night, I tried to talk to someone who could get me to see Eckhart. Everyone was passing the buck. I finally spoke to Eckhart’s manager, who told me that Eckhart doesn’t see or speak to anyone personally. They keep him very protected. He rarely does book signings. I’m told that press interviews are virtually impossible to schedule. Eckhart’s manager finally agreed to at least ask Eckhart if he would meet with me privately. I gave a copy of Peace in the Present Moment to the manager so Eckhart would know who I was. The next day, his manager responded to me that last night Eckhart was too tired to discuss it with him. He told me he’d mention it this evening. I wasn’t worried at all, because — as you know me by now — I knew it was going to happen. I didn’t doubt it for one second. I continued enjoying the journey. I told everyone that I was going to meet with him. All the friends I had made at the retreat waited with me in anticipation. It didn’t matter how long I had to wait, because I knew Eckhart would want to talk with me. My fellow retreat attendees were impressed that I was so upbeat, even when it didn’t look like the meeting would happen. The next day, I heard someone calling my name. I looked around and saw Eckhart’s manager over a sea of 500 people. I waved to him. He came up to me and said Eckhart would love to meet me at the end of the retreat, so he could be in the present moment with me. Of course! I knew it! It was so thoughtful of Eckhart to want to wait until the retreat was over so that he could fully be in the present moment with me. I knew it would be an incredible experience.
At noon on a Wednesday — a day I will never forget — I was escorted into his room, which had a kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. Eckhart and I sat next to each other on the couch in the living area. He wanted to hear my story from start to finish on how I was able to miraculously get to him. Eckhart told me that he knew how difficult it is to contact people like himself, so he couldn’t wait to hear the details. It was an incredible 40 minutes. Eckhart was inspired by my flowers. I knew it. He thanked me for creating our book! How amazing. Eckhart hugged me for what felt like five minutes. It was a dream come true. I didn’t let go until he did; I just absorbed his energy and stayed in the present moment. We signed one another’s books and took some pictures. He asked me to sign a book for Oprah, because he was going to be seeing her soon and wanted her to have a copy. That was another dream come true. We all know how much Oprah loves Eckhart Tolle. Our book sold out in the Omega bookstore. Those who had copies asked me to sign them and tell them my story. Hopefully, I inspired many people to use Eckhart’s teachings and manifest just like I did. Being able to uplift and encourage others was an incredibly satisfying experience.
